Friday mid-night, I returned from an Annual HR Professionals Conference in HK. There were HR professionals, trainers, business managers and a psychologist from China, HK and Taiwan. I am very happy to know that there are so many HR professionals who always want to help the employees and the organizations, to fight for the best interests of their people, and to make a difference in their organizations. I felt there’s no boundary between each of us.

 

The main topics covered in the Conference were:

²         How we can help organizations to breakthrough and better their current business performance.

²         How we can facilitate individual professionals to understand and enhance their strengths, and improve their weaknesses, so that they can achieve their aspirations in both professional and family lives.

²         How we, Human Capital Professionals, can continuous learn and grow in order to provide valuable suggestions to our business partners and employees.

²         What our visions will be in 2018 (10 years time) and what difference do we want to make.

 

Some fruitful outcomes have shown and we formed a few task forces/project teams which will be working on a number of important topics within the next 3-6 months time. The topics are:

 

²         Project Development Program—aims to create a systematic approach to help corporate professionals of different functions to thrive through Changes, drive results and make a difference.

²         Employee Assistance Program (EAP)—aims to promote the idea of EAP, provide world-class solutions and services to the employees and cooperates.

²         Human Capital Dual Diligence—aims to create a mechanism that can evaluate the cost or difference of the ‘Human/people’ elements prior to any merger, acquisition, or organizational re-engineering. In addition, we will also form solutions or appropriate ‘fixes’ for the organizations, so that organizations are able to make a best, balanced decision and avoid high cost or undesired results.    

 

We welcome who shares the same ‘contribution beliefs’ to join our project teams. I will be leading the Human Capital DD project and participating in the PDP project. Please contact me if you are interested in any of them.
